ACTIVITIES
Sea swimming at Balscadden beach has become very popular in recent years and it is just 150m from our door. If you are brave enough and require a beach towel, please ask at the reception.
Shanes Howth Adventures - Exceptional walking, biking and boat tours of Howth. It is a great way to explore Howth and learn of our local history. Check out https://www.shaneshowthadventures.com
Hill Walking - If you would like to do your own thing, we have maps at the reception and can point you in the right direction!
Ye Olde Hurdy Gurdy Museum of Vintage Radio - Based in the Martello Tower above King Sitric, entrance is right beside the Howth music school. Open every day from May until October. Weekends only during winter.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS
We would be happy to assist in printing your boarding passes. Ask any of our staff and we will attempt to facilitate you.
Same goes for chasing lost luggage!

BANKING FACILITIES
We accept Visa, Master Card, Debit cards or payments via your phone. There is a branch of the Bank of Ireland at Sutton Cross. Banking hours 10am to 4pm. There is an ATM machine in the Harbour Bar, the Centra Store in Howth Village, Dorans fish shop or along the seafront road opposite the playground.

BILLS
Guests who are leaving very early the next day can avail of our early checkout facility the evening before. Please ask us to prepare your bill. Corporate guests please advise how you would like your bill arranged.
BOOKS
There is a bookshelf situated on the bedroom stairs on the First Floor with plenty of light reading material. You are welcome to take paperbacks away with you.
CENTRAL HEATING
A thermostat on the individual radiators in your room controls the central heating.

DEPARTURE TIME
Check out time is 12 noon but we will be more than happy to store your luggage for you should you wish to leave at a later time.
DINING
Breakfast - Monday-Friday served 8.00 - 9.30am,
Weekends & Public Holidays 8.00 -10am.
King Sitric Seafood Bar is open daily from 12.30pm
It is advisable to make a reservation either with Reception or directly in the restaurant.

DRINKING WATER
Complimentary triple filtered water is provided for you in your room, you can get more any time from the bar.
The cold water tap in your bathroom can be used for drinking water.

DOCTOR
Should a doctor be required we can call a local doctor, or after hours, the Dublin Doctor On-Call Service.
EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency dial 28 or 10 for Reception, or at night dial 29. Should you require special assistance in the event of an emergency (e.g., if you are hard of hearing, or have any medical condition) please advise us on arrival.
FIRE INSTRUCTION
For your own safety, we strongly recommend that you study carefully the Fire Exit Notice in your room, at the back of your door. Please take note of the nearest fire exit. The assembly point is to the front of the building.
GOLF
We are surrounded by golf courses in this area and a guide to the facilities is available at reception.
There is an excellent golf shop McGuirk’s just at the corner.
HAIRDRESSING AND BARBER
May we recommend Storm, (Open Monday to Saturday) one-minute walk, just past the McGuirk’s Golf Shop on Harbour Road. Ask for Lisa and say you’re staying with us. Phone (01) 832 0663.
There are 3 Barber Shops at Sutton Cross, walk-in should be possible.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Should you require recommendations or assistance with onward reservations, we will be glad to assist. We should especially like to recommend our colleagues in the Country House & Restaurants Association (Blue Book). Copy available in your room or at Reception.

LOST AND FOUND
If you have lost any personal belongings or found any items that appear to have been left behind, please let us know.
MAINTENANCE
If you have any maintenance problems in your room, please let us know.
PETS
We are happy to allow well behaved, house trained dogs in your room. Please bring your dog’s own bedding with you.
POST
Please leave your post at Reception where we will mail it for you.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUS & DART
You can get the H3 or 6 bus to Dublin City. Bus stop is beside Starbucks or opposite McGuirks golf.
DART - Dublin Area Rapid Transport - Station is as the west pier.

RADIO AND TELEVISION
Your television offers you a choice of Free View channels & Radio.
You can also log into your own Netflix, Prime, Disney etc

There is a safe in your room with instructions on how to use it.

Of particular interest: The Lysaght Gallery, at the top of Main Street, at the right hand side of the Church. Surround, Main St, McGuirks Golf Shop at the corner of Abbey St; the Fish Shops along the West Pier & the Market on weekends

SMOKING POLICY
All our rooms are Non Smoking.
If evidence of smoking is found in your room, we reserve the right to charge your credit card €250.
This is to cover the cost of deep cleaning & possible loss of revenue.
